Great lunchtime webinar II today by the Center African American Heath Disparities Education and Education. Internalized racial oppression is not an overdone subject. It something see cannot see that contributes to chronic stress which sets in motion cascade effect of physiological dis-ease that lead to diseases, especially the top leading causes of death in Black women - Heart Disease, Cancer, Cerebrovascular Diseases (e.g, stroke), Diabetes, and Alzheimer's Disease. Instead of focusing on health behaviors caused by internal oppression, we need to get the root of risk factors for disease in many Black women.
